Four on the Fourth is a 4 mile run through Carrboro, and is the kickoff event for Le Tour de Carrboro.  Proceeds from Le Tour will benefit our 2012 Community Partners:

Arc of Orange County,  Optimist Club of Chapel Hill , Orange County Rape Crisis Center,  Table,  UNC Get REAL & HEEL Breast Cancer Program, UNC Wellness Medical Fitness Scholarship


  

Four on the Fourth is the goal race for the Fleet Feet training program, No Boundaries. The program focuses on beginners, but all levels of runners and walkers are welcome! Click here for more information and registration. 


Registration Options

You can register for Four on the Fourth ($30) only, or all 3 Le Tour races for $75.

2) At Packet Pickup on July 3 at Fleet Feet Sports, or race day morning (6:30-7:30 am)

3) Mail in a paper application -- click to download.

Thanks to Fleet Feet for providing our race swag! All registrants will receive a 16 oz. acrylic tumbler that's perfect for post-workout hydration.

Location and Course info

The race starts at 8 a.m. in front of McDougle Middle School, 900 Old Fayetteville Rd., Carrboro, NC, and finishes on the McDougle track.

Awards

Awards by local potter Janet Resnik will  be given to the top 3 Overall and Masters (40+), male and female, and age groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Open and Masters winners are not eligible for age group awards.

Standing prize money for course records, male and female: $50.

Kids Activities

"Little Firecracker" races are FREE for children aged 2-9 and will be held at the McDougle Track after the Four on the Fourth race. Participants will be divided into age groups 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 and will race on the McDougle Track. All kids will receive finisher ribbons.

And for the whole family, make sure to check out the pre-race activity area and enjoy chalk drawing, bean bag toss, hula hoops, balance games, and an inflatable obstacle course!

Registration is not required, but parents must sign a waiver form before the kids races.
