Sorry, but in-line skates, roller skates, baby joggers, headphones, and pets are not allowed.

All bib numbers must be clearly visible on the front of participants at all times during the race.

The above is included in the race waiver that each participant must sign.  These rules are in place due to our RRCA Insurance Policy.  Therefore, we must ask that all participants obey all of these and any other rules.

Bib Timing Information   -- based on RFID technology, the chip enclosed in the pouch on the back of your bib will positively identify YOU and your elapsed TIME as you run through the finish gate at the finish line. Please remember several things about this chip:

  1. Leave the chip in the pouch until you finish the race.
  2. Attach the bib to the front of your shirt, using 4 safety pins and the 4 holes at the corners of your bib.
  3. Do NOT fold the bib and chip.
  4. Do NOT pin the bib to the side of your shirt or shorts.
  5. As you leave the corral area after passing the finish line, slip your bib chip out of the pouch and deposit it into one of the recycle bins in the finish area.

Thanks for your participation in this event and your cooperation in the proper handling of the chip assigned to you.

 Think Environment!
Ways you can help CTC in maintaining a healthy environment for all of us to enjoy.

1) Recycle Old Shoes! Bring your old shoes to this event and put them in the designated box for recycling. The CTC will ship these off to NIKE where they will be used to make new things like: basketball courts, tracks, and more! If you can’t bring your shoes to this race, that’s okay, bring them to the Gallop and Gorge 8K on Thanksgiving morning!

2) Separate trash. Place your food scraps in one bag, your paper in another, and your garbage in a third. This way we can compost the food, recycle the paper and plastics, and throw away what’s left over.

3) Use cups from recycled materials We use a lot of cups at the water stations, this year we’re using ones made from recycled paper.

4) Carpool! Load up your running buddies in one car and come to the race. No need for separate vehicles that contribute to air pollution.

The Cardinal Track Club thanks you for your participation.  Enjoy!
